On 5 February 2026, representatives from the @MATES4Kids network presented a virtual side event at the United Nations Commission of Social Development (UN CSocD64), co-hosted by CLAN, Lehigh University, and @MATES4Kids.

The theme of the event was:
“Ensuring access to WHO Essential Medicines for #EVERYChild: Achieving the 80% x 2030 Target set by the 4th UNHLM NCDs Political Declaration.”

The event took place virtually on 5 February from 5:45 PM - 7 PM (New York Time/EDT), which is the equivalent of 7:45 AM - 9 AM (Sydney Time/AEDT) on 6 February.
