Community Development Grants
Founded in 2004, CLAN has spent 20 years advocating for childhood NCD communities worldwide. Since 2021, CLAN has partnered with global stakeholders through the @MATES4Kids Community of Practice (CoP) on WHO's Knowledge Action Portal (KAP) to reduce preventable mortality from CAH by 30% by 2030 and support the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
To achieve this, we focus on three key objectives:
- Improving access to essential medicines
- Strengthening CAH communities
- Scaling access to Newborn Screening
Through quarterly CoP meetings, international events, and @MATES4Kids Community Development Grants, we empower local solutions across six WHO regions. By 2030, we aim to drive grassroots action in 40 countries.
@MATES4Kids is offering $1,000 AUD grants to support initiatives in low-, lower-middle-, and upper-middle-income countries that align with these objectives. Applicants must be members of the @MATES4Kids CoP on the WHO KAP. With multiple grant cycles each year, we encourage you to apply with a well-planned and impactful program.
