We are excited to officially launch the 2023-2024 @MATES4Kids Activity Report at CSW69! The report highlights our progress in reducing preventable CAH mortality by 30% by 2030. It showcases achievements from our global network of champions, updates on our grant recipients, and tools to track progress. This report celebrates our work and calls for continued collaboration to address healthcare inequities for children with CAH and other chronic conditions.

The priority theme of CSW69 is:
"The review and appraisal of the implementation of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action (1995) and the outcomes of the 23rd special session of the General Assembly (2000)."

The Beijing Declaration was adopted in 1995 at the 4th World Conference on Women in Beijing. The Beijing  Declaration identified 12 critical areas where urgent action is needed to advance women's rights, including:
  • Women and poverty
  • Education and training
  • Women and health
  • Violence against women
  • Women and armed conflict
  • Women and the economy
  • Women in power and decision-making
  • Institutional mechanisms for the advancement of women
  • Human rights of women
  • Women and the media
  • Women and the environment
  • The girl child
