UN Events

CLAN and @MATES4Kids at the UN

CLAN and @MATES4Kids engage in key United Nations (UN) events to advocate for childhood NCDs and CAH. These events provide a global platform to raise awareness, influence policy, and align efforts with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Through participation, we build partnerships with governments, NGOs, and international organizations, amplifying our impact. We also share best practices and innovative solutions while increasing visibility for our mission to improve healthcare for children worldwide.

Our involvement ensures that CLAN and @MATES4Kids contribute to global health discussions and continue driving progress in newborn screening, CAH care, and health equity.

@MATES4Kids is an international movement committed to reducing the preventable mortality associated with Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH). CLAN (Caring & Living As Neighbours) is the founding Secretariat of @MATES4Kids and this Activity Report captures key initiatives and achievements of the movement from January 2022 to June 2023.
