@MATES4Kids is grateful to everyone who participated in our first Community of Practice meeting on 21 June, 2023. The active participation of our partners from across the globe made this meeting a spectacular success. This first CoP meeting facilitated connections, supported networking, shared more detailed information about the KAP, and allowed for improved access to a variety of key resources. @MATES4Kids is an international movement committed to reducing the preventable mortality associated with Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH). CLAN (Caring & Living As Neighbours) is the founding Secretariat of @MATES4Kids and this Activity Report captures key initiatives and achievements of the movement from January 2022 to June 2023.

CLAN is an Australian-based, not-for-profit, non-governmental organisation (NGO), approved by the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for Overseas Aid Gift Deductibility Status (OAGDS) and the Australian Taxation Office for Tax Deductibility Status. CLAN is fully compliant with the Australian Council For International Development Code of Conduct. CLAN was founded in 2004 and has been in formal association with the United Nations Department of Global Communications (previously known as the United Nations Department of Public Information for NGOs) since 2010, and in Special Consultative Status with ECOSOC since 2018.
